The fourth annual Oakland Underground Film Festival is taking place from September 27th through September 30th at several venues in Oakland. This event showcases films that are made in Oakland (though the settings within the films also include Mexico, New Orleans and Portland). At this festival, you'll have the opportunity to watch several full-length movies as well as quite a few shorts.
In addition to the screenings, there will be a party on Saturday evening at Vitrus-410 Ballroom. You'll also have the opportunity to attend a talk by award-winning journalist David Walker at 2 PM on Sunday.
