I took a physics class at Laney one summer while I was in high school. It was... interesting. Honestly, it was a lot harder than most of the classes I've taken at UC Berkeley (but that may be because I am absolutely not a science or math person). Still, it was fascinating to learn about the world around us.
For example, did you know that you don't actually suck liquid up through a straw? Instead, you simply relieve it of the atmospheric pressure holding it down, which allows it to rise through the straw into your mouth. At least, I think that's what I learned...
Have you ever taken a class at one of our community colleges? What was your experience like? Would you do it again?
